6th Grade Highlights By: Emily

Social Studies: The highlight of Social Studies has definitely been the Medieval Faire. The Medieval Faire was a lot of fun. Although the quality of the products went down with our class, it was still very enjoyable. Science: Science’s highlight of the year was definitely all the projects. Making volcanoes was entertaining, and watching them all explode was very amusing. L.A.: The highlight of LA was probably doing the book clubs because I was with my friends, and the book we read was really good. I also liked writing all different kinds of stories in Writer’s Workshop. Math: The highlight in Math was being able to be with all of my friends and work at the same time, but then we switched math classes, so now I’m not with the same people. I guess now the highlight is being able to work at your own pace. What I’ll miss about 6th grade: I’ll miss being able to wake up later. Waking up earlier will be torture! One thing that I won’t miss is school lunches. Best Memories: One of the best memories is the bowling field trip. It was awesome, and I’ll definitely remember it, even though I suck at bowling. I’ll also remember all the funny class discussions that we had.
