Highlights of the Year By: Charlene

Language arts: my favorite writing assignment was the creative piece. This is because when I was little I used to try to write creative pieces. (Of course at the time I didn’t know what they were called) anyway that assignment made me finish a creative piece. Science: my favorite thing in science was when we exploded the volcanoes not to long ago. I really didn’t expect that to be homework! I also didn’t know there was so many ways to make a volcano explode. My favorite volcano eruption was Elly and Janie’s. I thought it was cool how they did the confetti. Social studies: I enjoyed making the coliseum for social studies. It was also my first time using prezi so that was fun too. I liked seeing everybody else’s projects too. My favorite project was Janie and megan’s. Math: this year I really liked math. Mr. Finn is an awesome teacher. However my favorite thing about math has to be when we did the “casino” project. In my group were the two shyest people in the world, (or at least in the class), which I had to be the outgoing one. (In case you don’t know me well that’s a near impossibility!) Best memory: the first five minutes on the first day of school when our class was actually quiet. Then Mrs. Fulfer asked us to talk to each other and the room was silent. I don’t think the room was ever as silent as that ever again! What I will miss: I will miss everything!!! I just can’t believe this year slipped by already!
